Gaurav Gupta

Mr. Gupta is the Director of The Green Livelihoods Centre, a joint project of Sierra Club, The Climate Project India and SEWA. Mr. Gupta also founded The Climate Project India (TCPI), with Al Gore in March 2008. Prior to 2008, Mr. Gupta worked with the Boston Consulting Group in Sydney, London and Rome for 6 years. Mr. Gupta has also worked extensively with Australian Indigenous communities on sustainable development projects. In 2005, he setup The Cape York Institute, a leading Think Tank on Indigenous policy (www.cyi.org.au). He has recently co-founded an organic plantation and forest regeneration initiative in India (olandestate.com). In early 2009 Mr. Gupta worked with a social entrepreneur to successfully launch a line of high end organic cotton fashions targeting the Indian market (www.indigreen.co.in).
